The Big Island is one of my all time favorite places – you might see if Hawaiian Airlines still has those terrific package deals – they had some screamers in the fall and Hawaii tourism is still hurting – you could score big.

Have you ever heard of Mar Vista Cottages in Mendocino? I’ve never been, but they look so great (and family friendly). While you’re there you can help yourself to unlimited fruit, vegetables, and herbs from the garden and eggs from the hen house. Sea views too…

I am a huge fan of your blog and am very happy you included the doggie friendly places in Mendocino.

Good idea – I will check out the BlogHer resolutions. I changed my mind and have one – to try and pack lighter. Hopefully more than a dream.
