Traveling during the holiday season combines the stress of holidays (family, shopping, money, schedule) with large crowds and lots of weather risk. Add kids to the chaos and canceling reservations seems appealing.
Backpack to Buggy is all about adapting to meet travel challenges so we can enjoy vacationing and travel with our family. In that spirit, I am running a series over the next couple of weeks about “Making Travel Easier.”
Frankly, this area is well covered by many news outlets and bloggers, so I am going to try and find some fresh perspective and overlooked areas. Stay tuned the next couple of weeks.
Do you have some advice on making travel easier? Add a link to your piece below, or include it the comments.

Check the great stories (including mine) in the fall issue.
Will Mr. Linky be up for your travel easier posts in the next weeks too?

Hi Meg. Great idea for a series – I’m always up for a refresher course. I wrote a novel on your comments yesterday but I took so long I think the connection got lost. Here are some tips to consider – let me know if you’d like samples or promo codes from anything listed below:
1) Children’s activity kits from http://www.mybusykit.com
2) iPhone apps, developed by moms, helpful for family travel:
